How does it feel to be a victim of bullying?

It’s something students at Bedford High in Greater Manchester have been exploring, as part of Anti-Bullying Week.

They’ve made a special film, which tells the story of Holly, a girl struggling to cope with being bullied at school and online.

Schoolboy killed himself after cruel taunts from bullies

A schoolboy who was found hanged in his bedroom was being bullied because he suffered from learning difficulties and was dating a younger girl, his family and friends have claimed.

Joshua Maddox, who suffered from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), had allegedly suffered months of cruel taunts from classmates because the condition had left him struggling with his schoolwork.

Nearly one in five youngsters in the UK have been subjected to cyber bullying, with girls affected more than boys, research suggests. Many victims said their experiences had damaged their confidence, mental health and even school attendance.
